The 2023 "It's a Breast Thing" Event
It’s a Breast Thing hosted its 15th annual event at Eagle Eye Golf Club in support of local breast cancer survivors on Tuesday October 3rd, 2023. The Garden Room was filled with many guests excited to vote on bras decorated by local businesses and individuals to the theme of Great Lakes/Great Times as well as getting to know the health related exhibitors that always have such important information for all attending.
The bra voting is always a highlight of the evening as the creators compete to be voted one of the top 12 bras to be featured in the IBT calendar for the upcoming year where all bras are modeled by breast cancer survivors. Our guests enjoyed food and drink and then found their seat for the Education Program titled “Listen To This” with local experts presenting the most current information about breast cancer treatment and leading a Q&A with the guests.
The support from all those attending raised $12,200 during the ASK which was hosted by Pam Bellon! A big thank you to all who attended and made it possible to raise the money needed including our sponsors, exhibitors and bra decorators to award many more grants to local breast cancer patients with large financial needs. We look forward to seeing everyone for another great fundraiser in support of our local breast cancer patients again in 2024 on Tuesday October 1st!
