The 2022 "It's a Breast Thing" Event
The Garden Room at Eagle Eye was filled with guests on Tuesday evening the 4 th of October 2022! People arrived starting at 4:30 to be among the first to enter the It’s a Breast Thing Event so they could vote on decorated bras that were decorated with “Careers in The Community” as the theme in an attempt to get their favorite bra the opportunity to be featured in the IBT Calendar. Our guests also received much valuable information about breast cancer while visiting our health related exhibitors along with enjoying some refreshments, ordering IBT 2023 calendars, buying tickets to hopefully win the fantastic gifts with the “GIVING TREE”.
The evening continued with a wonderful video featuring several survivors telling their story that was so very heartfelt, the ASK which raised money to continue awarding grants to local breast cancer patients………It’s a Breast Thing’s mission!
A big part of the evening is always education on the latest information about breast cancer. This year the program was “Juggling the Sequence of Breast Cancer Treatment” with Carol Rapson MD hosting along with Suzanne Hanses DO and Dan Isaac DO. The program was very well received by our guest! We look forward to this great event again on Tuesday October 3 rd , 2023 and seeing all our wonderful guests! Thank you to everyone who had a part in the evening for making it a huge success and making it possible to award many more grants to our local breast cancer patients!
