The 2013 "It's a Breast Thing" Event

We would like to give a special thank you to the HELO Club for taking on It's a Breast Thing Non Profit as their charity for the year of 2013. It is with the support of such wonderful organizations like this that makes it possible to help our local breast cancer patients with their out of pocket expenses. Thank you to all of the women in the HELO Club!

It was a beautiful evening at Eagle Eye on Tuesday October 1st for It’s a Breast Thing 2013. What an evening it was with more than 500 guests who all came to vote for their favorite bra, visit our very informative exhibitors, enjoy food and drink while preparing for the terrific and very educational program. This year Dr. Janet Osuch was our guest speaker talking on “Spirituality, Prevention of Breast Cancer and Healing”. Dr. LaKeeya Tucker moderated the program.

Our host’s for the evening were Malinda Barr and Tim Barron and they did a fabulous job of directing and entertaining everyone. The top 12 bras were announced at the end of the evening with much excitement from the winners. More decorated bras were purchased this year than in the previous years and because of our wonderful bra decorators, exhibitors and generous sponsors the event made approximately $34,000 with calendar sales yet to come. To date It’s a Breast Thing Inc. has supported 26 breast cancer patients with financial grants. A big thank you to everyone that helped make this years event a huge success!

We hope you will join us on Tuesday October 7th, 2014 from 5pm-8pm for the 7th annual It’s a Breast Thing Event at Eagle Eye Golf Club and help us support more community breast cancer patients.
